Jennifer Carpenter Bio
Jennifer Leann Carpenter (born December 7th 1979) is an American actress from the United States. She is most well-known for her character Debra Morgan in Showtime's Dexter. In 2009, she won a Saturn Award. Also, she was recognized for her role as Rebecca Harris on CBS's Limitless. She began her role in the role of Erica Shepherd in The Enemy Within which is which is an NBC drama. Carpenter initially attracted attention for her performance in The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Carpenter won the 2006 MTV Movie Award "Best Frightened Performance" as well as an Hollywood Life Breakthrough Award. At the 2006 Scream Awards, she was named "Breakout Actress". In 2007, she began dating her Dexter co-star Michael C. Hall. They got married in 2008 when they moved to California. Hall and Carpenter issued an announcement in December of 2010, stating that they had been separated "for some time". However they remain close acquaintances. Carpenter and Seth Avett got engaged in February of 2015. Carpenter was eight and a half months pregnant when she was featured on Limitless the pilot episode. Carpenter and Avett married in May 2016.
