Emily Swallow
American actor Emily Swallow, born December 18, 1979. She is well-known for her role as Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara The Darkness in the eleventh season of Supernatural. She was also the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played part in a minor role on The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born in Washington, D.C. on December 18, 1979. She grew up in Sterling, Virginia, and Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow began acting while at Stanton College Preparatory School. She also took part in professional and amateur theatre productions. Swallow earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She continued her studies to earn an MFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. She was the star of the world premiere of Donald Margulies’ play The Country House at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse. Also, she starred alongside Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkinsin the production of Nice Fish at Guthrie Theatre. (citation needed) She was awarded the Falstaff Award in 2010 for the best female actress for the role in the role of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. In 2012, Swallow and Jac Huberman collaborated on a stage show titled Jac N Swallow. The show was staged at Joe's Pub and the Laurie Beeckman Theater in New York. The show is about their hilarious mishaps when they face diverse situations in their lives.
