Rashida Jones
Rashida Jones was born in Los Angeles,
California, the youngest daughter of a media mogul, producer and musician
Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. She has an older sister, Kidada Jones,
and five half-siblings inherited from the relationships of her father's
previous relationships. Her father is African American and her mother is
Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant emigrants from Russia as well as Latvia).
Rashida was educated in Reform Judaism. She grew up in Bel Air, Los Angeles,
California. Jones admitted that Jones' mixed race parents were unacceptable to
her in the 1970s. Jones first professional acting experience was on The Last
Don (1997) which was a mini-series inspired by Mario Puzo's novel. Rashida also
graduated from Harvard University in 1997. In 1997, she attended the Buckley

"Karen" since 2009 on the cult television comedy show Freaks and Geeks
(1999), Stella (2006), and The Office (2005).
