Natalie dormer
Natalie Dormer
(born 11 February 1982) is an English actress. Her achievements include winning
an Empire Award, and receiving nominations for the Critics' Choice Award along
with two Gemini Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in
Reading, Berkshire. She was known by playing the character of Anne Boleyn in
the character she played on the Showtime series The Tudors (2008), which won
her wide acclaim. Her stage debut was in the show Sweet Nothings (2010). She
also appeared in the Sweet Nothings (2010) and played the Duchess of York in
Madonna's film W.E. (2011), and Private Lorraine in Captain America the First
Avenger (2011). The Young Vic praised her performance in After Miss Julie
(2012). Dormer was highly praised for her performance in the show After Miss
Julie (2012) at the Young Vic. Dormer has also played Irene Adler/Moriarty in
the CBS series Elementary (2013-15), Sara Price Jess Price in The Forest (2016)
and voiced Onica in the TV series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019).
Her role as Penny Dreadful: City of Angels the miniseries about Penny Dreadful,
was highly loved. Dormer was born in Reading (Berkshire), England on February
11, 1982. She is the daughter of Gary Dormer, Claire Richards, and Samantha
Dormer.
